Delete Drive F:
The fear factor as some call it is what I call drive F. The very origin of fear lives as the unknown. Man fears that which he has no knowledge of understanding of. To be fearless is to live live the moment, letting tomorrow to sort itself, its to be heroes for ourselves...knowing that All iz well. We must learn to eject drive F: when necessary. It is innate and purposeful at times though notwithstanding.....gotta go. To be continued

From the Zone with love...
Silence: Music to my soul
The sound of silence might seem an awkward irony to dictate to ones ears but in the reality of it my soul yearns for such, my spirit soars the heavens for the incomprehensible beauty that belies such genius, such a masterpiece as silence. If ever there was a definition for pure love, it would be this: Love, the acoustics of my heart for you. This ‘acoustics’ would be the tranquillity your presence emanates from the dankest chambers of my temple, peace beyond measure, solitude mixed with joy and baked with the illumination from your face. Angels beheld the birth of heavenly sounds as though it were a public display of gladiators.
In the words of Invictus: ...I thank whatever gods may be present for my unconquerable soul... for I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul. Therefore I will sail this ship of mine towards the ever reverberating echoes of silence, though the winds might wish I fail and the inks of history bludgeon my name, may the sands of time not forget that I etched ever closer to the perfect sound of silence. For blessed is he who hears, sees and acknowledges ‘veritas’ (truth).
“For whatever path I chose in life shall neither depict my essence nor favour my quest- this I know not. For as we live but once why should I wait till the end for that which my heart yearns for, so I will say it now for this moment might be my last. To love is to not be selfish, for that which you love you pursue. My dreams are not yours, why then should I follow you? Be reasonable now and see the light, for Elohim is plural and lives in all.”
These were the words Silence spoke unto my unconquerable soul. In my anguish I wailed and replied “Ignis aurum probat, miseria fortes viros (fire tests gold, adversity tests strong men). De profundis, decrevi Dei gratia, veni, vidi, vici. (up from the depths of misery, I decree by the grace of God, I came, I saw, I conquered)”
Silence stared me in the eyes and what was to happen next I knew not. Suddenly it opened its lips and sang to my soul, and I rejoiced for this was like no other. I heard the sweet sound of silent music, Oh what joy! As it sang, I saw heaven come down on earth, like the sound of many waters it poured out verse after verse the melody of gods. I knew then that my ears would never yearn for music, for this was the sound. Finally I can return home for I have borne witness to this wonder. What the likes of Beethoven and Johann tried to duplicate, the best they could do was ‘Forte Elise’ and ‘Canon in the dark’. But this, this was originality personified. Thus I composed a poem for Silence...
The Sound of Silence: written by Obeka Chidiebere Uwakwe
From the hills of knowledge, came the art of music
In all its forms it was exploited
but never has there been a melody as silence.
Sound of music to my soul, I craved to hear thee blow
Note to note I searched the history books
but not even the best grasped your essence.
I sailed to the east, but even the banjos knew you not
And a stranger you were to the West
And the harps of the south valued not your presence.
So I looked within the soul, and there you where
And when you sang, the night awoke
And the day refused somnolence.
The child in me cried no more, for it heard heaven quake
The angels eavesdropped from above,
as the showers ceased to pour intense.
Oh! What melody, tranquillity wrapped in the beauty of light, Love.
